Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival 2017 (medieval theme)

A swelteringly hot day, so we were glad of a little shade under the trees after playing a couple of sets outside the former Wheatsheaf pub (with its beautiful stone carved sign) in the middle of this lovely south Lincolnshire village.

The Great British Folk Festival (various years)

Our Saturday and Sunday morning dances have been regular features on the bill at the Great British Folk Festival at Butlin's, Skegness almost since it began. We did the first one on spec in 2011 (it was Sunday only, that year) and we've been booked back ever since! A lot of these photos were taken in 2016 by Pauline Bell – many thanks Pauline.

Day of Lincolnshire Folk

We've appeared at the 600 Whiskies Day of Lincolnshire Folk at Leadenham a few times now, generally doing a dance workshop in the Village Hall as well as a set on the main stage. These fab photos are from the 600 Whiskies Facebook page.

Broadstairs Folk Week 2012

Some memories of a most enjoyable week at Broadstairs in August 2012. We played 5 official gigs, joined in various sessions, and made lots of new friends.

Oundle Festival Fringe, July 2012

Some photos from our appearance at the Queen Victoria Hall, Oundle, in July 2012, as guests of 5-String Thing, with Mike Brown on bagpipes and assorted woodwind. Merci beaucoup, guys!

Return to Potbelly (Oct 2011)

Photos by Mike Brown from our return visit to the Potbelly Folk Festival in Kettering Arts Centre.

Ely Folk Festival 2011

Some snaps from Ely Folk Festival, July 2011, where we played for the Saturday afternoon Bal. Two and three-quarter hours, a non-stop marathon for Florence (at least the rest of the band had a chance to get their breath back between dances), but great fun. And some shots of our interview and performance, live from the festival, with Mandy Morton on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire (through a single hand-held mike – but it sounded fine!).

Potbelly Festival (Easter 2011)

Some lovely atmospheric black & white photos, all © Jeremy Carter, who has kindly allowed us to use them here. For more of his excellent photos of this event (and other events at Kettering Arts Centre, plus many more subjects), visit his website:
